Guide for storage of dairy products

Dairy products can spoil very fast because it does not contain preservatives. Therefore, it is essential to maintain properly to ensure their last. Here are some tips on how you can store your diary products:

1. Ricotta Cheese remain fresh longer if refrigerated back in its original packaging.

2. While the cheese is made from frozen and thawed, can be used in cooking. After thawing, just whip up to make it creamy.

3. Some small dairies (1book or less and no more than 1 inch thick) can be frozen for 6 months. Ideal candidates are brick, cheddar, camembert, Edamn, Gouda, mozzarella, Muenster, Port Hi, provolone and Swiss.
4. A company or cheese will be semi-soft cloth is better if wrapped in a cloth dampened with a mild solution of water or brine composed of water, salt and vinegar.

5. You can freeze containers of whole milk. They take two days to defrost in the refrigerator or 6 hours at room temperaturetemperature.

6. Whipped cream can be made well in advance without separating. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1 tablespoon of cold water in a ramekin, then set the cup of boiling water to dissolve the gelatin. Flexible 1 cup heavy cream until almost stiff. 7. Before you return an opened carton of ice cream in the freezer, press plastic wrap onto the surface of the ice to prevent icecrystal formation.

8. If you have any doubt about the freshness of an egg, put in a deep container of cold water. If it floats on top, is too old to use it.
